Exciting Pizza Stunt Hints at Upcoming Crash Bandicoot News

The Latest Tease in the Gaming World
Recently, a clever marketing move involved sending pizza boxes to numerous social media influencers, including Canadian Guy Eh, a YouTuber known for his Crash Bandicoot content. These pizza boxes seemingly hint at an October launch for the new Crash Bandicoot game, titled Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, on Steam.
The pizza box features a fictional pizzeria named “Aku Aku’s Steam-In Pizza Shack,” cleverly referencing the character Aku Aku, who serves as a guide in the Crash Bandicoot series. The term “Steam-In” is a witty nod to the anticipated Steam release.
Historically, the PC version of Crash Bandicoot 4 was exclusively available on Battle.net, similar to other titles under the Activision Blizzard umbrella, such as Call of Duty.
However, what truly stands out is the message printed on the side of the box that reads:
“Hungry for more? Try our new Wumpa pizza for $12.08!”
This particular price aligns with the date of the upcoming Game Awards on December 8 (12/8), suggesting that there might be a significant reveal related to Crash Bandicoot during the event, potentially a new game announcement.
It’s essential to temper expectations; while there could be a reveal or even a rumored multiplayer spinoff, it’s also possible that nothing substantial will occur, leaving fans disappointed. The only way to know for sure is to wait until December 8.
