While yoga can often feel frustrating and overwhelming, its rewards keep practitioners returning for more.

There are no shortcuts; for me, it took five months to achieve a headstand. Similar dedication applies to writing. To become a competent writer, daily writing is crucial. Repeated practice helps you discover your voice and niche.
Success in writing often involves facing a tough journey filled with setbacks, but with each day, you can improve incrementally. It’s a battle, so be ready to engage.

The next essential quality to cultivate after consistency is persistence. Allow yourself the freedom to stumble countless times before you can execute a less-than-perfect headstand.
In writing, you’ll likely produce many unsatisfactory drafts before getting the hang of it. Your determination to grow as a writer, fueled by persistence, is what ultimately leads to publication.
If you want to be recognized as a writer, you must write. Otherwise, you’ll remain just a writer in your dreams. Realizing this ambition requires effort—be prepared to produce numerous drafts before you find your authentic voice.
So face your fears head-on and keep pushing forward until you no longer dread failure.
Chapter 2: The Art of Holding the Pose
In yoga, one of the more tedious aspects is maintaining a single pose for an extended period, known as “holding the pose.” Initially, it may feel uncomfortable, but with time, it becomes easier.
Writing follows a similar path. The more you practice, the more fluid the process becomes. With time, drafting, generating ideas, and revising will feel more natural and less daunting.

One of the most challenging parts of yoga is meditation—sitting in silence for extended periods can be excruciating. However, committing to just five minutes of daily meditation can unveil its profound benefits, such as reduced stress and enhanced focus.
Writing often involves the tedious task of brainstorming. Initially, it can feel laborious to extract ideas. However, if you commit to generating ten ideas daily, it can spark motivation for drafting articles.
