Transformative Journey: From Burnout to Inner Peace and Self-Love

Tanvi, the coach at We Wear Wellness
I recently finished a program called Burnout to Badass, guided by Tanvi Chadha from We Wear Wellness. Her mission, as stated on her website, is: “I support ambitious women facing negativity, overwhelm, and anxiety in transforming their mindset by overcoming limiting beliefs and embracing their best selves through self-love!”
Several months back, I discovered Tanvi on Instagram and began following her We Wear Wellness account due to the uplifting content she shared. Her vibrant and positive energy immediately captivated me! When she announced openings for coaching spots in a video, I quickly emailed her, eager to learn how to cultivate such beautiful, infectious energy in my own life.
For those who are active on Instagram like I am, you can follow Tanvi here to experience her radiant positivity firsthand.
Set Up Your Initial Call
If you feel as convinced as I did that the Burnout to Badass program is essential for your life, you can fill out a web form to request a consultation. This initial call will focus on your goals and determine if the coaching program aligns with your needs.
Before the call, you will receive a questionnaire prompting introspection about your motivations for joining the program. You can schedule your call here.
During our call, I expressed that my main goal was to find inner peace, and she reassured me that this was achievable. She listened carefully as I shared my feelings of being stuck in life, on the verge of a breakthrough, needing just a little nudge to make that final leap.
She then outlined the program: 12 weeks of intensive coaching, featuring a weekly video, a workbook to complete, and a weekly call. The support of someone who would actively listen and assist me in achieving my goals felt incredibly beneficial. I was ready to enroll.
Pricing
Upon hearing the program's price, I knew I needed to discuss it with my partner before committing. I mentioned that it might be beyond my budget, and she offered a more affordable version without the weekly call and Voxer support. I promised to discuss it with Gary, my partner, and get back to her soon.
Gary and I had an extensive conversation. To my surprise, he didn’t immediately say no. Given our financial responsibilities with kids, I expected reluctance, but he offered to cover the program costs for me. I was thrilled and quickly messaged Tanvi to confirm my enrollment.
Taking a Leap of Faith
Choosing to radically change one’s life is akin to taking a leap of faith. For months, I felt on the brink of an inner transformation, as if I were staring at scattered puzzle pieces of life’s answers, needing only to connect them. Committing to the Burnout to Badass program was my leap of faith.
Before deciding to enroll, I asked both my partner and my teenage daughter if they would still support me if I underwent significant changes. Their responses were enlightening.
Gary asked, “If you change, will you still want to be with ME?” I assured him that I would. Although I’m not sure he felt completely reassured, our relationship thrives on open and honest communication, sharing both the good and the difficult. We acknowledged that my struggles with panic attacks and past trauma affected our family life. He recognized that my positive transformation would benefit us all.
Atlantis said, “Mom, I’ve been with you through so many changes. I’ll be with you no matter what.” I cherish her unwavering support; her calmness in the face of life’s challenges makes me see her as an old soul.
After discussing everything with my family (excluding River, as I doubted a four-year-old would grasp the concept of coaching), I told Tanvi I was committed to moving forward. I was both excited and anxious about my decision.
The Course Content
Every Monday morning (adjusted for various time zones), Tanvi would send me a new workbook and video for that week. I would view the video, reflect on it overnight, and start working on the workbook the following day. Each video would introduce one or two skills to focus on during the week.
Initially, the topics included reducing your to-do list, journaling, and prioritizing self-care. The underlying idea was that feeling overwhelmed necessitates eliminating stress-inducing tasks.
Many of the subsequent weeks delved into limiting beliefs, identifying triggers, and extensive self-reflection. I engaged in considerable writing, thoughtful contemplation, and lengthy discussions with my partner regarding the internal changes I needed to make.
Transforming your life begins with altering your inner world rather than just the external one. Shifting your mindset is crucial for facilitating changes in your outer circumstances.
A highlight of the class was that each week, in every workbook and video, Tanvi referenced the scientific foundation of the practices I was learning. Understanding the neuroscience behind my thoughts resonated deeply with me, especially since I had studied neuropsychology in college.
I Am So Much Happier!
You might be wondering if I truly found inner peace in just a 12-week course. It sounds nearly impossible, right? I’m not exactly the Buddha meditating under the Bodhi tree.
However, I didn’t need the Bodhi tree or a mountaintop. By week four, I discovered a sense of inner peace. To be honest, I had experienced fleeting moments of it prior, but my aim was to learn how to sustain that peace.
I realized that inner peace isn't something to cling to; it’s about letting go—similar to the leap of faith I previously mentioned. It’s recognizing that inner peace is our inherent nature. We are all part of life’s essence—pure, perfect love and existence. I achieved this through acceptance—embracing my reality as it is and relinquishing judgments of right or wrong that had held me back.
I also learned the importance of self-love. This was challenging for me, having spent a significant part of my life grappling with self-hatred. Ultimately, it’s about acceptance, compassion, and that pure, perfect love.
My relationships have improved as well. With my emotional well-being restored, I am more present with my family, able to engage, play, and show compassion for their needs. Personal growth enhances how we connect with others.
My Partner’s Perspective
Throughout this course, I shared my insights with Gary about my learning journey and the changes I aspired to make. Our discussions varied; some were enlightening while others were challenging when I faced difficulties.
We maintain an open dialogue in our relationship, discussing everything candidly. My conversations with him often flow freely, encompassing both highs and lows.
At the end of the program, I asked Gary if he noticed any changes in me. He affirmed that I appeared much happier and less reactive. He could see how beneficial the class had been for me, recognizing it as a worthwhile investment.
Having Support Helps
As I navigated my weekly modules, I reached out to Tanvi through Voxer (later switching to Instagram) with questions about my struggles. She guided me with thought-provoking questions, affirmations to combat limiting beliefs, and insights into underlying issues. While she didn’t do the work for me, she steered me in the right direction, prompting me to explore my feelings and actions.
In addition to Tanvi’s guidance, I received support from my family. They granted me patience, grace, and space to focus on my personal growth, allowing for quiet time to work through the course materials—an invaluable gift in a household with a toddler!
Moreover, I had the support of my therapist. As a trauma survivor dealing with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, this was crucial. Tanvi was upfront about not being a mental health professional, emphasizing the importance of continuing my therapy alongside the program. If you don’t have mental health challenges, this aspect may not be as necessary for you.
As I delved into the class and uncovered my core limiting beliefs, I also addressed these issues in therapy and through EMDR. I was able to confront and process many subconscious concerns, bringing them to light and achieving resolution. EMDR significantly reduced my trauma triggers, allowing me to navigate them more effectively.
Are You Ready to Be a Badass?
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this course to everyone. I’ve already shared my enthusiasm with friends, proudly introducing them to an amazing life coach. Through my time with Tanvi, I discovered insights that had eluded me during years of therapy, which I consider a significant breakthrough.
I also experienced profound spiritual realizations. I believe that Tanvi has acted as a guide, helping me uncover a deeply spiritual path. Though she may not label herself as such, she has indeed aided me in taking the final steps toward inner peace.
Your aspirations shape your journey, leading you to the answers you seek.
Even if spiritual enlightenment isn’t your goal, this course offers numerous practical benefits applicable to your life, family, and work. At the outset, Tanvi inquired about my objectives to ensure the coaching suited my needs, and she tailored her guidance accordingly. She will do the same for you.
The Burnout to Badass program has genuinely transformed my life, and I am confident it can help you as well. All it requires is the readiness to take that leap of faith!
Please share your thoughts in the comments, and if you’re interested in this program, I strongly encourage you to apply. (Let Tanvi know I referred you!) If you have any questions about the course, feel free to ask here.
