Chapter 1: My Writing Journey Begins

When I began sharing my work on Medium in 2021, I never anticipated the volume of writing that would come to define my journey. While many on this platform are incredibly prolific, I balance a full-time job and other life responsibilities, so writing remains a cherished hobby for me. (Oh, how I long for the day when that might flip!)

My initial foray into fiction was through flash pieces I created for my own site and for Marie A. Rebelle's Smut Marathon. Shortly after, May More and Posy Churchgate launched the fiction magazine Tantalizing Tales. I was eager to contribute there, having formed connections through the Smut Marathon, where Marie, May, and Posy were among the first to welcome me into the world of erotic fiction.

But what should I write about? Inspiration was scarce, yet I had a dormant novel tucked away in my drafts that I had previously abandoned. I revisited it, hoping to unearth elements suitable for a short story.
