Healing the Past, Creating the Future

My enduring fascination with geometry reflects my artistic spirit. Geometry is a source of aesthetic beauty, exemplified by the golden ratio.

Artists and photographers alike recognize its significance. Modern cameras often incorporate grids that facilitate composition based on these harmonious principles, enhancing visual appeal.

As noted by Stephen Skinner, the exploration of sacred geometry originates from observing nature and its inherent mathematical structures. Numerous forms and patterns found in the natural world can be understood through geometric concepts.

Consider the chambered nautilus, which grows consistently, forming a logarithmic spiral that enables its shape to remain unchanged during growth.

Similarly, honeybees create hexagonal cells for storing honey. Such phenomena are often interpreted through the lens of sacred geometry, highlighting the profound significance of geometric forms in nature.

On platforms like Medium, many poets are now embracing Fibonacci poetry, drawing inspiration from nature's numerical patterns, achieving remarkable results, as seen in the works of Amy Marley and Tej.

Recently, I delved into the philosophical aspects of this topic, focusing on Deep Ecology, which promotes a regenerative future filled with products and individuals capable of healing from life’s challenges. This concept is anchored in sound scientific principles.

While some may view these ideas as futuristic, many are already embarking on this transformative journey. Once you embrace this perspective, it can revolutionize your life and inspire a sense of active hope, similar to what I've experienced.

A regenerative future envisions a world where humans and products can recover and rejuvenate when faced with life's adversities.

Heal the Broken Past

To achieve this vision, we must focus on two essential actions: healing the wounds of the past and collaboratively designing a regenerative future. I consistently advocate for clear pathways that guide all sectors towards this transition in my role as a regenerative strategist for innovation, governmental bodies, and businesses.

Recently, I’ve noticed an increasing number of companies and individuals rediscovering (sacred) geometry as a means of healing the past and as a design tool for both low- and high-tech solutions.

Practical examples?

I’m involved in a project aimed at reimagining the regenerative future for the textile and fashion industry. One inspiring brand, Royal Gypsy, is journeying with us towards this goal. Two aspects of this brand captivate me:

  • Royal Gypsy integrates multiple functions to minimize the number of items women need in their wardrobes. They plan to design men’s clothing soon as well, catering to basic needs for beauty and confidence without the pressure to impress.
  • The healing properties of sacred geometry are evident. Initially focusing on floral designs, Royal Gypsy transitioned to sacred geometry, leading customers to report significant personal transformations. Can a dress adorned with sacred geometry elevate our consciousness?

Another example I frequently discuss is Blue Earth Innovations. I witnessed their work firsthand, supported by a professional lab that measured the impact on their regenerative farmer clients.

By burying ostrich eggs filled with quantum-treated water in a sacred geometry pattern, they successfully revitalized nine hectares of severely degraded soil within just one year. That’s sacred geometry actively contributing to environmental restoration.

Could food cultivated by regenerative farmers using quantum-treated water enhance collective awareness? Could rivers and lakes rejuvenated with Wise Use’s microorganisms uplift our overall consciousness?

These questions present intriguing perspectives.

Polymath Design of the Future

The future of design will increasingly emphasize patterns and flows rather than rigid, static technologies. While we have a foundational understanding of fractals and combinatorial innovation, true breakthroughs will emerge when we fully embrace pattern-based thinking.

When we adopt a broader perspective, we recognize that the linear thinking characteristic of the industrial revolution served specific purposes.

The universe operates on vastly longer timescales and higher visions than our limited, ant-like viewpoint often allows us to perceive. We must aspire to soar like eagles, gaining clarity from above.

Historically, cycles of knowledge have prevailed. In earlier times, polymaths like Leonardo da Vinci and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe harmonized art and science.

However, the industrial revolution shifted our focus, training minds to excel in specialized fields. This led to the development of linear technologies, enabling the creation of our interconnected digital world.

Now, the resurgence of polymaths is gaining recognition, underscoring their value as generalists. We need individuals who can connect disparate ideas, transcending personal boundaries to engage with others possessing diverse knowledge. Perhaps polymaths like Genius Turner, Zat Rana, Erin 'Folletto' Casali, Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, Nicholas Scalice, and Jesus Najera exemplify this shift.

In the regenerative community, I’m surrounded by many polymaths. We engage in constant dialogue, connecting ideas and fostering collaboration among scientists, business leaders, and influential changemakers participating in The Great Transition.

Like a murmuration of starlings, we gather, growing our collective impact.

Indeed, we are in the midst of The Great Transition, which unfolds in two distinct phases. The initial phase was ethical, emphasizing the integration of heart (love) and intuition (gut feelings) into our decision-making processes.

We have just entered the second phase of this transition. I never anticipated that a virus would catalyze our awakening, but here we are. Welcome to the existential phase of The Great Transition—it's time to take action. Humanity stands at a crossroads; we could either face destruction or decline if we do not act now.

Superformula and Blockchain

Let’s refocus on geometry. Currently, I hold weekly discussions with the esteemed scientist Johan Gielis, known for the Superformula—the unifying equation for all shapes in nature.

As our conversations progress, I realize how geometry underpinned the Cartesian past and will serve as a cornerstone for a regenerative future.

In a fixed state, geometry can reinstate sacredness in our designs. It’s time to integrate sacred geometry into our creations or ambitiously design all products with sacred patterns.

Johan holds a different view, questioning why one pattern might hold superiority over another. Squares and circles are fundamentally equivalent; perhaps ancient patterns have preserved universal energy longer. I’m eager to explore this question.

In a flowing state, we will leverage the superformula to innovate. We must abandon hoarding and control, fostering flexibility instead. Let’s eliminate technological lock-ins perpetuated by greed-driven business models. Synergy will ensure that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts—1+1=3.

This isn’t magic; it’s pure science. We merely need to add wisdom and engage in experimental reality.

In summary, our technological landscape has been built upon binaries—ones and zeros, black and white, leading to polarization across our systems.

The superformula enables us to create all shapes through a single equation. Imagine the implications for data transmission: sending one dot instead of 70,000 triangles over the network would yield significant energy savings.

The same principle applies to blockchain. The substantial energy consumption of blockchain technologies poses a challenge. For instance, Bitcoin reportedly consumes as much energy as the entire Netherlands and more than Argentina, according to BBC sources. However, what if we could redesign blockchain and Bitcoin using the Superformula?
