I must confess, I've previously conveyed how simple it is to earn money online. While I still stand by that notion, I neglected to mention a significant aspect of the truth. Making money online is genuinely effortless only if you've already cultivated an online presence.
For many newcomers, it can be quite challenging to attract listeners to podcasts, viewers to videos, or readers to blogs. However, once you establish that foundational audience, the process tends to become significantly easier, especially for most creators.
Consider well-known Medium authors like Tim Denning and Kristina God—they have built a reputable presence on various platforms. This gives them a sense of credibility. In contrast, those of us without a substantial following often face considerable obstacles in persuading people to invest their money in us.
Section 1.1: Developing Essential Skills
How can we reach their level of achievement? The first step is to hone your basic skills. In the initial phase of starting a business, it's vital to acquire the necessary skills to execute specific tasks effectively.
Take photography as an example: you won't succeed as a photographer if you're unfamiliar with fundamental concepts like ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. You don't need to master complex techniques right away—just grasp the basics. Once you have those down, you'll naturally learn the rest through experience.

At the start of this discussion, we acknowledged that having an audience is crucial for success. This brings us to the next phase. After mastering the fundamentals, your next objective should be to secure client work and/or cultivate an audience.
If you're aiming to be a content creator, actively engage on your chosen platform by consistently producing valuable content. For aspiring photographers, leverage social media to showcase your work and attract followers. Interact with your audience by liking and commenting on their posts. Don't hesitate to reach out to potential clients; share drafts of your work to gain visibility.

Once you've taken these steps, the key is to repeat the process. The initial phase is often the most daunting. However, as you gain momentum, you'll likely find that things become more manageable.
Chapter 2: A Personal Journey
