It parallels an alcoholic's relationship with alcohol; although alcoholics need fluids to survive, they can choose non-alcoholic options. Similarly, I focus on consuming wholesome foods that stabilize my blood sugar levels. Items like bread, pasta, cookies, and ice cream can disrupt my well-being.

How does one fall into the trap of food addiction?

There are two primary factors: a physical response to refined carbohydrates and a psychological dependence linked to emotional eating. Let's delve into the physical aspects first.
